Council adopts Rappahannock-Rapidan regional hazard mitigation plan

The council unanimously adopted a resolution to accept the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission's Regional Hazard Mitigation and Resiliency Plan (Resolution R-2026-024). Andrew, staff presenting the plan, described it as a two-year collaborative effort that was later reviewed by state and federal partners and said it "was broken down into recommended actions to be taken by each of the jurisdictions, the counties, as well as the towns contained therein."
