Benzie County accepts administrator's resignation and names interim administrator
The board accepted County Administrator Katlyn Zeits’ resignation effective Aug. 19, 2026, and appointed Leslie Bilbey as interim administrator with an annual salary set at $93,000, effective July 29 for pay purposes; the board also authorized final wage and PTO payout per contract limits.
