Legislature approves grants, contracts and program actions; CIP referred for public hearing

A consent motion carried to take a large set of remaining agenda items as a block except for specified items; after that the Legislature approved a range of grants, contracts and program actions recorded in the Journal. Notable approvals include classification and sale authorization for a county-owned tax-foreclosed property on Main Street in Scottsville (25-0152/25-0153), a contract authorization with LeChase Construction Services for construction management on wastewater treatment facility projects (25-0154), acceptance of multiple state and federal grants for transportation and public safety programs (including a Safe Streets and Roads for All grant, 25-0177), and intermunicipal agreements for fuel purchases and school security assistance (25-0178/25-0179).
