Jason Sleight, audit partner with Jones Simpkins, presented the county’s 2025 external audit to the Cache County Council on July 28. Sleight reported unmodified opinions across all financial units, no findings for federal single‑audit grant testing, and zero material weaknesses or significant deficiencies for the fiscal year. He agreed to provide a corrected general‑fund variance sheet for page 81 that Executive George Daines had questioned.
