Jenny (Speaker 4) presented the adult probation user-fee fund and asked the council to consider specialty pay for probation officers who carry additional training and duties, and an on-call stipend to prevent comp time from accumulating. "So the thought with that was having that especially case locate for the on call would cover that. They would no longer accumulate comp time. It'd be a flat rate," she said, describing the reasoning for a predictable stipend rather than large compensatory payouts.
