Hampton City Council approved the use permit (20-21) for Canopy Development's 255-unit multifamily proposal at 1044 Von Schilling Drive in the Coliseum Central overlay. Planner Quinn Heinrich described a three-building plan with 38 studios, 110 one-bedroom units, 99 two-bedroom units and eight three-bedroom units, plus shared amenities including a clubhouse, resort-style pool, fitness center, a dog park and bicycle parking.
