Calvert council approves consent items: minutes, accounts payable, and RFB for lawn maintenance
By unanimous motions, the council approved prior minutes, accepted accounts payable, and authorized release of a Request for Bids for lawn and grounds maintenance covering six city-owned residences.

At its May 12 meeting the Calvert City Council approved several routine consent items by unanimous motions. The minutes of prior meetings were approved with the record: "Motion by Allen Wiese, Second by Jan Walston. Approved Unanimously." The council also approved acceptance/payment of accounts payable: "Motion by Jan Walston, Second by Dennis Crabtree. Approved Unanimously."
