The Deer River Public School District board voted to approve a contract authorizing Itasca County to provide election services for the special election scheduled for Nov. 4, 2025. The motion to approve the contract was moved by Pam Thompson, seconded by LuAnn Robinson, and carried by recorded vote among members present.
