On Feb. 4, 2025, the Allen ISD School Health Advisory Council voted unanimously to support the district's existing cell-phone use policy for all elementary and secondary schools. The motion to "support the current cell phone use policy at all elementary and secondary schools" was made by Becky Wiginton and seconded by Annabelle Zakarian; it passed by unanimous consent.
