At the Aug. 11 meeting, Steve Dirks (topic introduced by the Chair) asked the Grant County drainage board to evaluate a Taylor Creek tributary for dredging and tree removal to reduce log jams and improve flow. Members recalled cleaning work done three to five years earlier and said portions of the drainage run into neighboring counties, meaning the board may need partner action or cost-sharing.
