The subcommittee revised the draft to require a performance guarantee in the form of a bond only, in an amount equal to 150% of the estimated cost of decommissioning, recycling and site restoration. Members agreed the estimate must be produced by an engineering study conducted by a certified engineering firm acceptable to Grant County and that the bond should be adjusted to reflect updated estimates.
