Mike, a county communications official, told the committee that a July 24 design meeting with Gencom reviewed site profiles and signal capacity and that the county will rely on the Pipestone Tower as an interim replacement for the LCO/WOJB site while tribal authorities decide about upgrades or a replacement. "At this point, we are relying on the Pipestone Tower to replace the LCO Tower until, the TGB comes up with a plan on whether to beef up that existing tower or replace it entirely," he said, noting outside coverage should be strong while indoor "talk back" coverage in some northeast areas may remain spotty.
