The tax assessor's office presented a personnel request at the Aug. 10 work session seeking pay adjustments that staff estimated would total about $15,600. The assessor proposed increases such as $1.50 for an administrative assistant and $2.00 for appraisers, and asked the board to authorize a market-review and revised job descriptions to justify the changes.
