Public Works presented capital requests including a milling-head attachment for the skid steer (used for asphalt tie-ins, cutting joints and removing roots) estimated at about $25,000. The director said the attachment is specialized for pavement work and would improve the county's ability to repair roads and prepare surfaces for new paving.
