Alamo approves MOA with Lower Rio Grande Valley stormwater task force to manage TPDES permit

The City of Alamo approved a memorandum of agreement with the Lower Rio Grande Valley TPDES Stormwater Task Force to prepare and manage the city's industrial stormwater permit (SWP3) for the Alamo wastewater treatment plant. Melody Bridal, regional stormwater manager for the task force, told commissioners the partnership has worked with area cities for roughly two decades and can prepare the notice-of-intent application and SWP3, assist with staff training, and help with audits.
