Liberty Township project financing to be reviewed; public hearing set

Phil Johnson told the Hancock County Board of Commissioners that a recent conference call with Chair Jeff Hunker reviewed financing for the Liberty Township project and that, in his review, bond financing arranged through the Port Authority "would not count towards the County's debt ceiling." He said he would contact Bond Counsel and expected counsel's input at a public hearing scheduled for April 28, 2026.
