Council and developer spar over responsibility for Flock cameras and security funding
Developers said 15 Flock security cameras are installed on the GRID site and that some camera placements and costs differ from the original agreement; the council and EDC discussed who should pay and whether agreement language needs updating.

Security cameras and who pays for them became a recurring point in the GRID update. Brian Murphy said the project has installed Flock cameras in partnership with the city and reported there are 15 cameras on site; he argued cameras are an effective tool for crime deterrence in a small city on a freeway.
