The Coffey County Commission authorized the payroll notice for a new technology hire on Aug. 3. The board authorized the payroll notice for Decovin Plummer, Technology – Systems Administrator, Wage Classification 60‑1, at a wage of $29.55 per hour, effective Aug. 4, 2026. The authorization was moved by Chairman Mark Petterson and seconded by Commissioner Steve McCurry and the minutes record "Motion passed."
