Commission declares three sheriff pursuit SUVs surplus for disposal
The Commission, on recommendation of the Coffey County Sheriff’s Office, declared three Dodge Durango pursuit vehicles surplus for disposal: two 2021 models (VINs 1C4SDJFT8MC725399 and 1C4SDJFT2MC725396) and one 2023 (VIN 1C4SDJFT8PC577940).

The Coffey County Commission voted to declare three sheriff pursuit vehicles no longer required for county purposes and authorized their disposal. The vehicles listed were a 2021 Dodge Durango Pursuit, VIN 1C4SDJFT8MC725399 with 121,658 miles; a 2021 Dodge Durango Pursuit, VIN 1C4SDJFT2MC725396 with 95,343 miles; and a 2023 Dodge Durango Pursuit, VIN 1C4SDJFT8PC577940 with 72,273 miles. The motion was moved by Commissioner Steve McCurry and seconded by Michael Abendroth and the minutes state "Motion passed."
