The Council of the City of Oregon voted Nov. 26 to approve Resolution 2024-10 requesting that the county board deny a proposed solar farm on riverfront property located outside city limits. Council Member Tim Krug moved the resolution; Council Member Kurt Wilson seconded it, and the motion passed on a 4–0 roll call with one member absent.
