At its July 24 meeting the Matagorda ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025–26 pay scale, the Student Code of Conduct, two local board policies and a personnel contract; each formal motion passed 4-0.

The Matagorda Independent School District Board of Trustees met on July 24, 2025, in the district boardroom and recorded a series of unanimous actions. Board President Buddy Broussard called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM; members present were Broussard, Christina Treybig, Gina Treybig and Casey Kindall. The board approved the minutes from its June 26, 2025 meeting on a 4-0 vote.
