Commission hears routine updates: bridges, solid waste, search-and-rescue successes
Staff reported routine operations including rescheduling a bridge concrete pour, solid-waste collection challenges, mapping work to find missing assessments, and the sheriff's office described several recent successful search-and-rescue operations.

Public Works reported multiple near-term construction and maintenance efforts. Matt (Public Works) said the Carmela Bridge concrete pour was moved to next Monday because of weather and proposed a ribbon-cutting on Sept. 27 prior to opening the bridge to traffic. He also said West Boulder Bridge will go to bid in coming weeks though precast concrete beams have long lead times (12–18 months).
