Minong board preliminarily accepts Superior Fuel five-year fixed propane rate

The Town of Minong opened propane bids and provisionally selected Superior Fuel's five-year fixed-rate proposal at $1.349 per unit. Clerk Susan Conaway said she solicited bids on an approximate annual usage of 2,500 units; bids included Como Oil & Gas at $1.299 (Sept. 1, 2026–Sept. 1, 2027) and Ferrellgas with two-stage pricing (July–Sept 2026 at $1.269, then $1.299 through June 30, 2027). Superior offered a fixed five-year rate of $1.349 or a $1.449 ceiling rate.
