The Board voted Aug. 4 to recognize Cooke County Texas 4‑H as eligible for extracurricular status under the Texas Education Agency rules (19 TAC Chapter 76.1). The resolution, requested in writing by Cooke County Extension staff, was moved by Trustee Cathey Ritchey and seconded by Trustee Chris Byrom; the motion carried 6-0.
