Zoning Administrator Breckyn Sprock told the Lyon County Board of Supervisors on Aug. 11 that she plans to draft an ordinance regulating data centers and requested a temporary moratorium on new data center activity while the ordinance is developed. Sprock said she will collaborate with the county auditor and the county attorney to prepare a resolution that specifies the moratorium's terms.
