The McCamey ISD Board approved a resolution to establish a Local School Library Advisory Council (SLAC) and adopted Policy EFB(LOCAL) on instructional resources and library materials, including catalog access for parents and students. Trustee Crystal Marquez moved the resolution and Trustee Sarah Acosta seconded; the motion carried with six recorded yes votes.
