Mustang Ridge council votes 5-0 to pursue Pura Vida Municipal Management District

At a Feb. 24 special meeting, Mustang Ridge council approved Resolution #25-255 consenting to a petition with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to form 'Pura Vida Municipal Management District No. 1,' a mixed-use development the resolution says would include retail, hotel, civic and residential uses and provide jobs and revenue to the city.

Mayor David Bunn called Special Council Meeting #751 to order at 6:00 p.m. The council unanimously approved Resolution #25-255, a measure consenting to the filing of legislation or a petition at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to create “Pura Vida Municipal Management District No. 1” within the municipal boundaries of the City of Mustang Ridge. City minutes record that "Casondra Dailey made a motion to approve Resolution #25-255 would consent to the filing of legislation or the filing of a petition at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for purposes of creating the "Pura Vida Municipal Management District No. 1" within the municipal boundaries of the City of Mustang Ridge." Michelle Bergmann seconded and the motion carried 5/0.
