Howe Fire Rescue told council it ran 65 calls in June, completed certifications for breathing apparatus and SCBA cascade systems, and is working on a two-year EMS license renewal timeline to meet a September deadline.

Howe Fire Chief Monet reported the department ran 65 calls for service in June and described ongoing training and certification work. "The month of June, the Howe Fire Rescue ran a total of 65 calls for service," Monet told the council and noted personnel will attend TEEX and Texas Municipal Fire School training for specialized agricultural rescue skills.
