The New Deal ISD Board approved a Certification of Compliance with certain laws under Texas Education Code §39.008 (as enacted by Senate Bill 12, 89th Legislature) at its June 9 meeting. The motion was made by Bobby Durham, seconded by Casey Bigham, and carried 7–0.
