Following the bid opening earlier in the meeting, the Douglas County Board accepted the low bid from Shutter Tire and Auto for 2026 county vehicle maintenance on a motion by Commissioner Charlie Meyer, seconded by Commissioner Shane Schmidt. The vote was recorded as unanimous (Kalina, Meyer, Rapp, Schmidt and Way).
