The PITTSBURG ISD Board recognized and approved a list of community donations at its Aug. 18 meeting, thanking area businesses and individuals for supporting staff and students. Donors named in the meeting record include City National Bank (Joe Harwell), Koe Wetzel ($20,000 to support student needs district‑wide), Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, RACKS BBQ, Whataburger, Dr. Ochoa, Coleman Orthodontics, Kim's Convenience Store, Golden Chick, Huey's Coffee, Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab, VFW, Rotary Club and other community contributors.
