Local commenters urge Twisp to keep participating in county drug task force

At the public-comment portion of the meeting, Mark Edson told councilors that "if Town cannot come up with the $25,000," officials should consider reallocating Police Department funds or other town dollars to maintain Twisp's participation in the county drug task force. He argued funds are available and should be used given perceived gaps in local policing.
