The Oak Ridge City Council called a special session on Sept. 23, 2024, at 6:50 p.m. and adjourned at 6:53 p.m. after a motion to adjourn by Scherri Holmes, seconded by Nena Langford; the minutes record that 'all being in favor.'

Mayor Al Rudin called the City of Oak Ridge special session to order at 6:50 p.m. on Sept. 23, 2024. Present were Council Members Rolando Guzman, Scherri Holmes, Nena Langford and Janelle Davis; Mayor Pro Tem Jimmy Quick was absent. Chief Bill Weatherly and City Secretary Karen Stacey were also in attendance and attested the minutes.
