Ottawa County commissioners establish FY25 SHSP fund for Sheriff’s Office
The Board voted to request the County Auditor create a fund titled "FY25 State Homeland Security Grant (SHSP)" for the Sheriff’s Office under O.R.C. 5705.09(F). The motion passed unanimously among present commissioners; Commissioner Coppeler was absent.

The Board of Ottawa County Commissioners on July 23 voted to request the County Auditor establish a fund titled "FY25 State Homeland Security Grant (SHSP)" for the Sheriff’s Office under O.R.C. section 5705.09(F). Commissioner Donald A. Douglas moved the request and Commissioner Mark W. Stahl seconded; the motion passed with Stahl and Douglas voting yes and Commissioner Mark E. Coppeler absent.
