The Markesan Common Council on March 10 approved two related resolutions for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application. Ald. Kazda moved (seconded by Ald. Prill) to approve Resolution 01-2026 authorizing submission of a CDBG application; the resolution passed 5-0 with the reading waived. Immediately afterward Ald. Prill moved (seconded by Ald. Thiem) to approve Resolution 02-2026, which commits and certifies that match funds are secured; that resolution also passed 5-0 with the reading waived.
