Personnel panel recommends making Senior Programs Coordinator a non‑union supervisory position
Lapeer County's Personnel Committee voted July 23 to recommend that the Full Board approve revising the vacant Senior Programs Coordinator description (Position #361, Pay Grade 17) to a supervisory, non‑union role because the duties now include confidential and supervisory responsibilities; no budget increase was required.

Andrea Pomerantz, Senior Programs Director, and Natasha Kugler, Human Resources Director, told the Lapeer County Personnel Committee on July 23 that the vacant Senior Programs Coordinator position (Position #361, Pay Grade 17) needs an updated job description to reflect supervisory and confidential duties at one of the county's two senior center sites. Kugler said the county notified the union about the change. "The union has been notified of this change," Kugler stated.
