The Lander County Board of Commissioners opened a public hearing on a resolution to adopt the county's 2026 Master Plan but did not approve the document, instead directing staff to reconcile the future land-use map with recorded zoning. Planning coordinator Shelby Knott presented the draft and stressed that the land-use map shows "future land use," not current zoning, and invited commissioners to ask questions about specific parcels.
