Gateway SD to require parent acknowledgment of electronic-device guidelines
Gateway School District staff told the board it will require parents to acknowledge new electronic-device guidelines that keep student devices out of sight "from bell to bell" and said the rules are posted online with an FAQ and an electronic acknowledgment form for families.

Dr. Rossi said the district will ask parents to acknowledge electronic-device guidelines ahead of the school year and that the guidance is posted online for families to review. "Not calling these guidelines because that's what they are. It's not a policy per se because it's not board policies, it's just gonna be our guidelines," Dr. Rossi said.
