Community Development Director Rachel Vickers told the council that the tree-retention standards adopted through Ordinance 2024-02 (Chapter 15.82) currently apply only to developments requiring site plan review. She said subsection I does not extend to land division applications and a code amendment will be needed to clarify that the tree-retention requirements apply to all development applications.
