Council hears update on impact fee fund and pending TWDB project budgets
Staff told council the impact-fee fund has collected more revenue year-to-date than projected and that one prior debt payment was paid off; final annual debt-service numbers for a 2026 TWDB loan remain pending staff and banker breakdowns.

City staff briefed council Aug. 11 on the impact-fee fund and how the fund is used to pay debt service on capital projects. "Essentially, what this is used for is the payment, of our debt service," staff said, and noted the 2026 payment for one debt had been paid off, which affects FY27 projections.
