Jacinto City adopts updated Drought Contingency Plan prepared by LJA Engineering
Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2024-9R to adopt a Drought Contingency Plan prepared by LJA Engineering, fulfilling a state requirement that public water suppliers maintain a plan and setting staged restrictions for shortages.

The Jacinto City Council voted 5-0 on Nov. 5 to adopt a Drought Contingency Plan prepared by LJA Engineering and authorized staff to implement and enforce the plan. City Manager Lon D. Squyres told the council the plan is required by the State of Texas every five years.
