Commissioners vote 3–2 to earmark Economic Development funds for fairgrounds building
After public comment and a presentation from Fairgrounds Director Kimber Solberg, the board approved earmarking Economic Development funds for the fairgrounds building; the motion passed 3–2 with Commissioners Haswell, Siddle and Wright in favor.

Fairgrounds Director Kimber Solberg told the board that the recent rodeo and cleanup efforts were significant and that preparations for the County Fair are underway. Chairwoman Christi Haswell proposed earmarking Economic Development funds to support the fairgrounds building while the Fairgrounds Board continues fundraising.
