Board approves minutes; sets next meeting and contested hearing dates
The Maui County Board of Water Supply approved minutes for June 18 and July 16, 2026 (each motion receiving five ayes with one abstention), was reminded of an Aug. 20 contested case hearing and meeting, and received Sunshine Law guidance from Deputy Corporation Counsel Yukari Murakami.

The Board of Water Supply handled routine business at its Aug. 6 meeting, approving the June 18 and July 16, 2026 minutes. Member John Helly moved to approve the June 18 minutes, Member Jake Musson seconded, and the motion passed with five ayes; Vice Chair Ekolu Lindsey abstained. Vice Chair Lindsey moved to approve the July 16 minutes, Member Helly seconded; the motion passed with five ayes and Member Paele Kiakona abstaining.
