Hunter board adopts Tentative Preliminary 2026 Budget
The Town Board of Hunter voted 4-0 (one absent) to adopt the Tentative Preliminary 2026 Budget on Nov. 13, 2025; the board recorded that ambulance funding from the county is included and that $40,000 in cuts would have been required to meet the tax cap.

The Town Board voted to adopt the Tentative Preliminary 2026 Budget during its Nov. 13 meeting. Supervisor Sean Mahoney moved to adopt the tentative preliminary budget; Councilman Raymond Legg seconded the motion and the board approved it by a 4-0 vote with one member absent (Ernest Reale).
