Staff gives progress update on multiple capital projects; tree removals flagged
Public Works staff updated the subcommittee on completed and in‑construction capital projects (BART pedestrian/bicycle connectivity, Linscheid improvements, Zone 7 resurfacing), upcoming bids and contract awards, and said three trees may need removal for a Buchanan's Park corridor improvement; staff will work with families on memorial markers.

A staff presenter reviewed completed work and projects in construction or design. Completed items included BART pedestrian and bicycle connectivity projects and Phase 1 of Linscheid traffic calming; projects in construction include Zone 7 pavement operations and strip closures with staff saying, "We are hoping to be done with this project by the end of August." The Terry Court sewer repair feasibility study is complete, and a Marina Wharf contract was awarded to Interactive Resources for facility upgrades.
