The Kemah City Council voted unanimously on Jan. 21 to approve Resolution 2026-05, authorizing an economic development project under Chapter 505 of the Texas Local Government Code. Council Member Doug Meisinger moved to approve the resolution; Council Member Lee Wallace seconded the motion, which carried with all members present voting yes.
