The City of Palos Heights Water and Sewer Committee on May 26 unanimously approved a set of contractor payments and professional services tied to ongoing sewer, water storage and repair projects. Public Works Director Joe Smith reported ongoing system work and a recent tally of incidents, saying, "There have been 19 watermain breaks to date." Chairman Brennan moved to approve each payment, and Alderman Begley seconded the motions; all passed on voice votes.
