Council approves DPW maintenance work, meter testing and surplus sale

The council approved several Department of Public Works requests: a quote from Taylor H2O Work to test six in‑place water meters (3‑ to 6‑inch sizes) with a not‑to‑exceed fiscal exposure of $3,250 if repairs are required; emergency repairs to a DPW water‑service truck estimated at $2,871.42 to replace rear leaf springs; and listing a 1997 Ford F450 dump truck as surplus on MuniciBid because it needs more than $11,000 in repairs while its value was estimated at about $4,500.
