Tim Davison, reporting on recreational trails, said the county is seeing significantly higher use on many routes but faces maintenance challenges in dry conditions. He said winter and summer trail use in some areas has climbed substantially while reservation-area travel remains stagnant largely because the county lacks funding to work some reservation trails.
