The Howe City Council voted on May 20, 2025 to approve Ordinance No. 834, annexing a property identified as GCAD Property ID 132234 (HAINING J A) of approximately 10.854 acres at 2703 Hwy 5 into the city limits and adopting a corresponding service plan. Councilmember Billie Ingram II moved to approve the ordinance; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Ricky Price and "Motion passed unanimously."
